Verix Invites You to Join in on a Pharma Industry Christmas Carol

It’s Christmas soon enough and Verix is happy to join all of you in a cheerful singing!

For the next 12 days Verix will publish 12 significant events that affected the Pharma Industry in various ways during 2014, starting today! And what better way to gain holiday spirit than to pull inspiration from the traditional English Carol, “12 Days of Christmas”.

We see these 12 events as a gift given to us to learn from and we invite you to learn with us. You’re welcome to sing along!

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
A bucket full of ice water spilled all over me.

Opening our ’12 Days of Christmas’ Carol is the incredible social media campaign known as the “Ice Bucket Challenge”.

Meant to raise awareness of the ALS disease, as well as donations to ALS research, this challenge has touched millions of people in the U.S. and around the world. So much so, that the ALS association claims it has received $115 million in donations since July 29, 2014! That’s more than a 3,500% increase from what the ALS association raised during the same time period last year!

The “Ice Bucket Challenge” serves as the 1st of our “12 Days of Christmas” Carol because it has left its significant mark on the Pharma Industry, making it clear as stark that digital marketing pays off, big time!
