The Verix Discovery Suite helps organizations discover, understand, and act on hidden performance changes in their sales operations, well before they might have been detected by other methods. Verix’s core engine is different because it automates data search and analysis. Other analytic solutions require extensive configuration, often by experts with statistical training, which often fail to find issues in areas that are not anticipated.  After all, if you don’t know where to look how do you detect emerging performance changes?  The Verix Discovery Suite requires no configuration or modeling in its search for performance changes.

What counts as a performance change or event?  Events are the fundamental output of the engine and are defined as a recent, statistically significant change in sales performance that is unique.  The Verix Discovery Suite searches through all of your internal and external customer data using sophisticated time-series analysis tools to find changes in performance.  False positives due to noise, seasonality, or other expected behaviors are rejected using proprietary algorithms that adaptively select proper trend thresholds. Even then, it is not enough to merely locate statistically significant trend breaks in business data.  The result set must be culled of duplicates and cause must be distinguished from effect, again using advanced, dynamic statistical algorithms.
