GLOBAL DAIRY PRODUCTS MANUFACTURER DRIVES REVENUE WITH VERIXMountain View, CA, May 08, 2007 – Global dairy provider, Tnuva, signed on to the Verix solution and quickly identified sales opportunities. Hidden, spotty sales successes and leakages were waiting to be discovered by sales management. When the company implemented the Verix Discovery Suite solution in 2004, they had a strong grasp on overall sales performance and performance by brand. Tnuva had been generating multiple reports on sales performance – daily, weekly and monthly all covering various measures. Yet, within a few weeks of implementation, the Verix Discovery Suite started providing unique insight to sales management that helped them focus on sales performance issues as soon as they start emerging. In one example, the sales rep responsible for one high-traffic store made an independent decision to place a small refrigerator full of specific chocolate milk products in one store. The products, which were being marketed through a campaign by Tnuva at the time, were placed inside the refrigerator near the cash registers. Shortly after, Verix detected a big surge in sales in that particular store, while most other stores were exhibiting very mild increases. When receiving the insight, the senior sales manager thought it was mistake in the data. He asked one of his subordinates, a junior sales manager responsible for the store, and she didn't know. It wasn’t until contact was made with the sales rep directly handling sales to the store that the source of the sales surge was uncovered. The sales rep told his superior that he used a special campaign refrigerator near the cashier, so that shoppers would pick up the product when proceeding to pay. The senior manager decided to put such refrigerators in all other stores, resulting with surge in sales of this product in most of these stores and leveraged success. The Verix Discovery Suite automatically pinpointed the abnormal sales volume of this store compared to its “peer” stores in this region. The average, broad-based performance figures of the region weren’t alarming, because this single store success was being blurred by the mild sales increases of all other stores in the region (which were expected from the Tnuva campaign for the products). Without the Verix solution identifying this performance abnormality and emailing it to sales management, this success would have gone unnoticed. “The Discovery Suite made revenue impact from the beginning, through discoveries such as this one.
