Doron Aspitz, President and CEO
Doron Aspitz is a visionary and seasoned executive, with over 20 years of technical and business management experience in growing technology companies in dynamic markets. Doron specializes in building and expanding early-stage companies with a customer-centric approach.
Mr. Aspitz was previously co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Blue Pumpkin Software, a leading workforce management solutions company. Blue Pumpkin received numerous industry accolades for transforming the way companies manage employees and the customer experience. Call Center Magazine awarded Doron with their “Pioneer of the Year ” award to honor his industry contributions. Doron drove Blue Pumpkin to achieve strong profitable growth during difficult times and led the company to a successful acquisition by Witness Systems (NASDAQ: WITS) in 2005 for approximately $90 million. Prior to founding Blue Pumpkin, Mr. Aspitz held global business and technical management positions at Tandem Corporation and IBM. Doron received a Masters in MIS and a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics, both from the Tel Aviv University.
Bobby Lent
Bobby Lent is the Managing Partner of Hillsven LLC. Mr. Lent is also a major investor and Chairman of Traiana, Inc., an early stage enterprise software company focused on Trading Relationship Management that is headquartered in New York with core Research and Development in Ramat Gan, Israel. In 1996, Mr. Lent co-founded Ariba (Nasdaq: ARBA), a billion-dollar enterprise software company that is the recognized leader in Enterprise Spend Management.
Yorgen H. Edholm
Mr. Edholm is a Silicon Valley veteran with nearly 25 years of enterprise software experience. He currently serves as President and CEO of Accellion, Inc., a privately-held developer of secure file transfer solutions, which he joined in 2003. Previously, he served as President and CEO of DecisionPoint Applications, an analytical applications company. In 1989, Mr. Edholm co-founded Brio Software. During his 12 years as Brio’s CEO, Yorgen built the company into a software leader with $150 million in annual revenue, over 700 employees and a customer base of more than 5,000. He served as Chairman of Brio until 2003, when the company was acquired by Hyperion.
Daniel Cohen
Daniel Cohen is a Partner at Gemini where he specializes in Internet and enterprise software investments. In addition to his role on VERIX’s board, he is an active board member for eSnips and SupportSpace. Daniel recently relocated from Israel to Gemini+ ‘s Silicon Valley Office where he manages the fund’s U.S. operations and provides portfolio companies with a direct link to California technology and VC activity. Danny currently sits on Gemini’s Internet Lab Board which co-invests in Internet companies with Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Previously, Danny was a Principal at Gemini where he was responsible for deal flow and deal sourcing processes. He participated in the investment process of over a dozen Gemini companies, including VERIX, dbMotion, Allot, TriSixty and Mirage Innovations.
Danny began his career as a software engineer at Scitex and was subsequently joined Sagitta where moved from development to product management leadership. Prior to Sagitta, Danny held senior strategic marketing roles at Commtouch. Danny has a BA in computer science and psychology from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from INSEAD. Hagi Schwartz
Mr. Schwartz also sits on the board of directors of SGI. Mr. Schwartz is the Chief Financial Officer of HyperRoll, Inc., a provider of high-performance database aggregation and summarization software. Prior to HyperRoll Mr. Schwartz was Chief Financial Officer of ATRICA, Inc., a telecommunications company. Mr. Schwartz was Chief Financial Officer at Noosh, Inc., a print management software company and served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Check Point Software, Inc., a software company. Mr. Schwartz has a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Bar Ilan University. Mr. Schwartz is a partner in Magnolia Capital Partners LTD, which provides corporate advisory services to its clients in Israel and the United States.
