Bobby Lent
Bobby Lent is the Managing Partner of Hillsven LLC. Mr. Lent is also
a major investor and Chairman of Traiana, Inc., an early stage enterprise
software company focused on Trading Relationship Management which is headquartered
in New York and has core R&D located in Ramat Gan, Israel. In early
1996, Mr. Lent was the co-founder of Ariba (Nasdaq: ARBA), an enterprise
software company, which is the recognized leader in Enterprise Spend Management.
Avi Zeevi
Avi Zeevi is a veteran software executive in Israel, having led various
software companies over the past 25 years. From 1984 to 1994, Avi served
as CEO and President of MINT Technologies, a provider of intelligent application
integration solutions for financial institutions. From 1994 to 1999, Avi
was the CFO of Oshap. Avi also served as an active director of Tecnomatix,
MINT and Decalog. Avi successfully helped build MINT and Decalog into
successful global companies actively contributing to their market penetration,
management team build up and the establishment of strategic partnerships.
Avi played a key role in the sale of Oshap to SunGard. Avi served as a
director at Tecnomatix until it was sold to UGS in 2005.
Avi is Chairman of Actimize and serves on the Board of Directors of Impress
Software Solutions, OpTier, Octavian and Business Events.
Avi is a member of the Executive Committee of the Israel
Venture Association. Avi is also an active board member of TZEVA, an educational
non-profit organization, which operates enrichment centers for underprivileged
children. During the past few years, Tzeva has emerged as an important community
service activity amongst leading Israeli VC firms.
Yorgen H. Edholm
Mr. Edholm is a Silicon Valley veteran with nearly 25 years of experience
in the enterprise software business. Most recently he was President and
CEO of Accellion, Inc., a privately held developer of secure file transfer
solutions, which he joined in 2003. Previously he served for two years
as President and CEO of DecisionPoint Applications, an analytical applications
company. In 1989 Mr. Edholm co-founded Brio Software and, during his
12 years as CEO, built the company into a software leader with $150 million
in annual revenue, more than 700 employees and a customer base of more
than 5,000 companies. He served as Chairman of Brio until 2003, when the
company was acquired by Hyperion.
Daniel Cohen
Daniel Cohen is a Partner at Gemini, specializing in Internet
and enterprise software investments. He sits on the Board of Gemini companies
eSnips, SupportSpace and Verix (formerly Business Events). Daniel has
recently relocated from Israel to Gemini’s Silicon Valley Office.
He manages the Fund’s
operation in the US and provides portfolio companies with a direct link
to the technology and VC activity in California. In addition, Danny led
the creation of Gemini’s Internet Lab, which co-invests funds in Internet
companies together with Lightspeed VP. He currently sits on the Board
of the Lab.
Previously, Danny was a Principal at Gemini, responsible for the Fund’s
deal flow and deal sourcing process. He has participated in the investment
process of over a dozen Gemini companies, including dbMotion, Business Events,
Allot, TriSixty and Mirage Innovations.
Danny began his career as a software engineer at Scitex
and was later hired by Sagitta as a software group leader. He moved from
development to product management at Sagitta and assumed responsibility
for the product management team. In 2000, Danny joined the strategic marketing
department at Commtouch and was promoted to Sr. Director of Product Marketing
after a short time at the company. Danny has a BA in computer science and
psychology from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from INSEAD. He blogs on

Amir Ashiri
With 20 years of experience in software development, focusing primarily
in BI, data warehousing and data mining, Amir delivers the right mix
of technology and market know-how to drive Business Events to its leading
position. Prior to founding Business Events, Amir worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers,
managing some of the largest BI implementations. Amir holds a BA CS from
the Hebrew University.
Doron Aspitz
Doron Aspitz is a visionary and seasoned executive, with over 20 years of technical and business management experience, growing technology companies in dynamic markets. Mr. Aspitz, who specialized in building and expanding early-stage companies with customer-centric approach, brings the foresight and management savvy necessary to drive Verix to market leadership.
Doron Aspitz was co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Blue Pumpkin Software, a leading workforce management solutions company. Blue Pumpkin received numerous industry accolades for transforming the way companies managed their employees as well as their customer experience. Call Center Magazine awarded Doron with their “Pioneer of the Year” award for his innovative industry contribution. Aspitz drove Blue Pumpkin with financial discipline achieving strong profitable growth during difficult times, leading to a successful acquisition by Witness Systems (NASDAQ: WITS) in 2005 for approximately $90 million. Prior to founding Blue Pumpkin Mr. Aspitz held global business and technical management positions including Manager of Product Strategy Development at Tandem Corp. and Product Line Manager at IBM. Doron Received a Masters in MIS and a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics, both from the Tel Aviv University. |
